Departing from Mt. Chausu

It is only 26 meters above sea level and is one of the five low mountains in Osaka. It was the headquarters of Tokugawa Ieyasu during the Osaka Winter Siege and Sanada Yukimura of the Toyotomi side during the Summer Siege, and is known as the location of the Battle of Chausuyama (Battle of Tennojiguchi). At the top of the mountain, there are historical materials, maps, stone monuments, etc. that model the battle of Osaka, so it is a must-visit place for history buffs. There is a river bottom pond at the foot of the mountain, and it is said to be the site of excavation by Wake Kiyomaro in 788 (Enryaku 7) for drainage and water transportation of the Yamato River and Lake Kawachi. You can cross the pond at Wake Bridge, which connects the park to Mt. Chahaku.
