Shikoku castle tourism

Surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean, Shikoku is a warm and natural area. Each prefecture has a variety of tourist attractions and gourmet foods, such as Ehime's mandarin oranges and Dogo Onsen, Kagawa's udon and Shodoshima, Tokushima's Awa Odori, Naruto's whirlpools, and Kochi's bonito, famous for Ryoma Sakamoto. It is also famous for the pilgrimage that goes around Shikoku and the Setouchi Triennale, which is held once every three years. In addition to the four existing castle towers, Uwajima Castle, Matsuyama Castle, Marugame Castle, and Kochi Castle, it is known as the area with the most preserved castle buildings in Japan.
